In our society today the value of marriage and a monogamous relationship is rapidly decreasing. As women ~ we battle with insecurity and comparing ourselves to the latest and greatest sex symbols plastered across magazine covers. With this kind of competition we begin to devalue our self worth, and we begin to feel like it is impossible to ever be "magazine beautiful." We start to assess ourselves in a negative light, thinking, "I will never compare. I will never be thin enough. My husband will never want me like that." We doubt our beauty everyday, BUT... this is a lie that America feeds ALL of us. It is a lie that the world wants us to believe.

God made you beautiful, and He wants you to rejoice in your feminiity. God wants your husband to realize that YOU are breathtaking! YOU are sexy, and that YOU are both designed to satisfy one another, alone.

My Mission

Boudoir is all about making you feel beautiful. From the hair and makeup, to the final results - and your gorgeous images in the palm of his hands. Here at Boudoir by Marin Kristine, I coach you through every pose, and we giggle along the way. By the time you leave and head out to your car, you will have more confidence and be so glad you made the choice to book your boudoir appointment. Every girl is nervous when she arrives (that is completely normal) but just facing your fears and making the call is the first step. I will take care of the rest.

I am absolutely in love with this type of photography. "Boudoir" is my passion, and I love, love, love showing women just how beautiful they are. I adore the smile on their faces as they view their images for the first time, or the excitement in their voices in anticipation of showing their hubby. It is an extremely rewarding job! I have been shooting boudoir for 2 years out of the comfort of my home studio. 'Boudoir by Marin Kristine' is an all woman staff so you do not have to feel insecure or nervous about a man lurking around.

I know what it is like to be insecure, or ashamed of weight. I understand wanting to hide stretch marks and blemishes, or just the simple struggle with personal self image. I have been fighting my own battle with it for years, and I still would dare to say I have not overcome my insecurities completely.

I believe this type of photography is very rewarding, and can help you realize just how beautiful you are. No matter what anyone else says about boudoir, it is about how you see yourself and how you feel on the inside. I have had woman leave the studio saying that they feel more confident, beautiful, that the session was so much FUN, and that they are glad they did it.

If you are nervous at all, please don't be. You are among good company with a woman (like me...) that knows you might want to hide a few areas of insecurity. No need to worry! I coach and pose you throughout your whole boudoir session. So, unless you have a few ideas of your own you would like to incorporate I am right there holding your hand the whole time.
