A dollop of Daisy

“Things taste better with a dollop of Daisy” – and guess what, they really do. This fabulous chica put a smile on my face from the moment she tip-toed her way into my studio. She is sweet, feminine, a little soft spoken, and she definitely thinks (like so many of my clients do) that I am silly and a total nerd… but honestly, I love to hear that! It is one of my favorite things and such a great compliment. If I can get you smiling and feeling comfortable on the other end of my camera, I have succeeded at my job and in life. I am telling you ladies… just being brave and facing those nerves is the first step to gorgeous images of yourself. I promise (as Daisy will testify) I will take you the rest of the way! With a stunning makeover by LILY (my makeup artist) and my goofy self singing songs to you in the studio, you will be giggling and confident in no time at all. Please, do not be intimidated by the boudoir process, it is much easier than you think.

The shot below is my favorite from her session. She reminds me of Audrey Hepburn a little bit.

Miss Karen

This is Karen. Isn’t she lovely? She radiates so much confidence and beauty in her boudoir images, and I love the process she took to get there. What was her secret? She just thought of her husband walking into the room… and BAM! I got some sexy eyes from her -which equates to beautiful images. It is a tough thing to accomplish. Yes, it does definitely take a level of comfort with oneself (and with me) to get those sultry eyes, but once you do… you will love the results of your images. Karen is flying into Germany this next Tuesday to meet up with her husband and surprise him with this sexy little gift. I am so excited for her….

Meet Lily :: Makeup Artist

Meet Lily. She is the newest addition to Marin Kristine Photography and the perfect makeup artist for you and your boudoir session. She is going to make you feel so beautiful that you wont be able to stop the sexiness that is going to happen between your face and my camera. I have been waiting a long time for this match to happen between a makeup artist and myself. I needed someone who was professional, dedicated to their craft, punctual, interested in boudoir, along with TONS of talent. I found her, and I am so excited to share a little bit about her. Please, watch the video below and hear what this sweet woman has to say about who she is and her art. What is so fabulous about having Lily working alongside me? You no longer have to book an appointment at the MAC counter in your local mall. It is right here in the privacy of my studio, along with an all female staff. What could be better or more comfortable than that?

Miss Victoria’s session

WOWZA! What can I begin to tell you about Victoria? Well, for one thing (as you can tell from her images below) she is just a smokin’ hottie, but honestly boys and girls, she is soooooo much more than that! From the moment that I met Victoria, I felt like we were kindred spirits – laughing and giggling like silly girls. She has a confidence from the inside out, a beauty that shines from within her heart, and a smile that is oh-so contagious. Just being around her made me feel more beautiful as a person (and I couldn’t help but smile constantly). She loves herself heart and soul, and this my sweet readers, is really the secret ingredient and key element within boudoir photography (and life). I believe that the eyes are the doorway to the soul, and when you can let your guard down with me (as your photographer & friend) you end up with unbelievable images.

Boudoir is all about loving yourself, and celebrating your beauty, and because Victoria loves who she is and where she is at in here life, it reflects through her eyes and in her laughter. I was simply there to document it. Below is a video – filled with words she wants to share. I hope you enjoy her as much as I do.

Miss Melanee : MINI SESSION

I literally just got off the awesome Miss Melanee (who booked a MINI session with me three days ago) and I am smiling from ear to ear. She came into my office this morning to view her images… and surprised me with a sweet thank you card with a Starbucks treat inside, Thank you Melanee. Well, I am sooo excited because her phone call informed me that I am allowed to share these images with you boudoir loving ladies… YAY! She originally checked the ‘PRIVACY PLEASE’ box in the contract before we started shooting, but after her premiere this morning she decided to let me post some of her amazing MINI session to share with you guys! YES!!!!! Melanee is my first MINI session since I released the announcement three weeks ago, so I am so happy that you get to see them. Hope you enjoy the small taste of what a MINI SESSION is all about…

Just for anyone who’s thinking about doing this, DO IT! Marin is such a sweet, personable girl, and fun to be around. The mini session was really quick, so I actually didn’t get as much of a chance to get to know her then as I did when I went to pick out my photos, but she made me comfortable and made me laugh. I adore her and love her work!
